Salary: $95k - $115k AUD + Superannuation (negotiable)

Employment status: Full or part-time, with flexible working policy

Job location: Work from home, co-working occasionally in Melbourne (if candidate is Melbourne based), travel required for workshops, training and school support

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced leader of Teaching & Learning, particularly someone who has developed teaching through Instructional Coaching. You should be well versed in contemporary educational research, pedagogy and leadership. Experience of having participated in and/or led a whole-school teacher development programme is desirable. You should be as comfortable engaging in educational research around how teachers learn as you are working with school leaders and coaches.

Considerable experience in operations (logistics, administration, event organisation) is also desirable. As the fourth employee of Steplab Australia, this will be a diverse role requiring a flexible and fast-learning candidate.

Your responsibilities

A large part of this role will involve meeting with school leaders to understand their needs and find solutions for how Steplab can help. Whether through our innovative platform or our training and support, your role is to ensure school leaders are provided with everything they need to fully understand the functionality and support offered by Steplab to help them implement great PD that really works.

Another significant aspect of your role will be co-running Steplab training, as well as supporting the implementation of the Certificate in Coaching Leadership and supporting participants within it.

In addition to this, you’d also have the opportunity to work on the following:
