Steplab is a remote-first, self-funded, high-growth, profitable startup. We’re a growing team of around thirty talented individuals who have built a cutting-edge platform that gives schools everything they need to develop brilliant teachers.
We’re on a mission to transform the lives of young people by giving teachers, coaches and school leaders simple, effective and powerful tools to systematically improve.
Our HQ is in London, home to much of our team, but many of us are distributed across the UK, Australia, and the US.
Steplab is used by the two largest teacher training organisations in the UK, as well as thousands of primary and secondary schools around the world — and things are just getting started!
We’re looking for an experienced product designer to help us build beautiful and intuitive software for schools. As our ideal candidate, you should have proven experience in shipping web-based, desktop-first B2B SaaS products. You should be ready to lead complex design projects autonomously.
As our first designer, you will be responsible for not only the UX and UI of new and existing features, but also for building the foundations of Steplab’s design process and design language.
